The album features a collaboration with Matrixxman.
Over the last two years, Vin Sol has been working on ‘Planet Trash’ whilst taking a break from making club tracks and disconnecting from the grip of the internet and 24-hour news cycle. ‘Planet Trash’ is inspired by San Francisco’s Bay Area and Sutro Tower, alongside influences from Latin freestyle and classic acid that informed Sol’s youth.
His debut album follows on from a string of releases on labels such as Honey Soundsystem, Unknown to the Unknown and Clone as well as Sol’s own imprint and party series Club Lonely. The San Francisco based artist also runs the label Soo Wavey alongside Matrixxman.
‘Planet Trash’ by Vin Sol will be released on the 13th May via Dark Entries – pre-order here.
