Recently releasing his new album ‘Trickster’ on Coyote Records, Filter Dread is behind some of the most hyper-futuristic electronic releases. Landing on labels such as Sneaker Social Club, Ramp, Corrupt Data and Unknown To The Unknown, Filter Dread’s latest project was made entirely in isolation and saw him flip his process completely as he moved from his computer to completely hardware-driven productions. ‘Trickster’ feels like a snapshot into the future as he aims to strive “for freedom from this intricate and confusing world”. To celebrate the release, Filter Dread has provided a nearly 30-minute mix that spans across some of the soundscapes found on the album, from metallic DnB and breaks to grimy 2-step and downtempo melodies – you’re in for a wild ride.
