On Bait’s third various artist release, the label seeks out the weird and wonky with the apt title ‘Out Of Step’. Standing out from the rest of the label’s releases, ‘Out Of Step’ features tracks from ex.sses, lloydfears, gillielove, VCR and lastly Ōtone, who’s track we’re premiering today.
Berlin-based artist Ōtone brings organic and ASMR-like elements to the release with their single ‘Valve’. Creating what they describe as ‘mineral grooves’ as they build these sonic worlds via their collection of field recordings, ‘Valve’ is a chugging swampy track that leaves you feeling like you’ve hiked through a metallic jungle, clanging against the various plant life on your journey.
