We’re moving fast and furious with this latest cut from Drummy. The Tampa-born, NYC-based producer steps up for his debut EP on local label Sorry Records following a string of singles and remixes on the imprint. Having also released on Kindergarten Records and Juke Bounce Werk, we’ve had our eye on Drummy for a little while now and always excited to hear the new works he’s been cooking up.
Out tomorrow, ‘Anger Start’ does not disappoint. Noted as his love letter to Sorry Records, the four-track EP spans across tunnelling techno, bass-driven garage, wailing house, and thundering metal alongside a remix from Tennessee prodigy and another 909 favourite Max Watts.
“3 tracks and a remix that can only be described as my love letter to Sorry Records – our industrial-grade techno kitchen has enabled me to burrow deeper & deeper underground while Nick, Tony & Kylie do all the work..this EP is meant to encapsulate what the label means to me so far.” – Drummy
