Taking a step away from the club environment and exploring new sonic landscapes, Monoloc has launched a new imprint Unterland with debut EP, ‘Storyline’.
The music on the label will come from Monoloc and friends focusing on ‘dramatic’ sounds with drone and noise influences. Launching in March with ‘Storyline’, the EP is the first collaborative project between Monoloc and Beauty of Inconsequenz. Filled with eight tracks, ‘Storyline’ is mainly driven by field recordings, dark and deeply atmospheric with dubstep influences.
Unterland will release 2-3 pieces of work a year and will be distributed by Kompakt in digital and vinyl formats.
