Already being caned by the likes of Teki Latex and Finn, it seems likely you’ll be hearing a lot of India Jordan’s debut EP ‘DNT STP MY LV’ this summer.
The Doncaster-born DJ and producer has been a familiar face at Local Action’s nights around London, Djing b2b with Yamaneko and Finn, and even running the bi-monthly New Atlantis in Peckham, an ambient social alongside Deadboy. Though for anyone who happens to have browsed her sets, Jordan’s love of hardcore and jungle are apparent. The title track combines soul with big basslines, with the up-tempo ‘DN4’ reminiscent of 90s rave. ‘Through Lacuna’ and ‘Leaving Stanley’ are euphoric and chimey, with Jordan inviting Irish producer ELLLL to remix ‘Lacuna’ on the last track.
