Following a three-day blackout, fabric has broken their silence to launch a series of special events and activities in celebration of reaching 20 years.
Over the course of the year, fabric will be throwing 20 parties in addition to their regular schedule. Branded fabric XX, the first phase of announcement includes Lee Burridge, Tale Of Us, Bonobo, Fuse, John Digweed and The Martinez Brothers – many of them performing 10-hour sets.
In addition to the parties, fabric has announced two residents – Anna Wall and Bobby – as well as the return of their fabric mix series. Running quarterly, ‘fabric presents’ will launch with Bonobo. They will also be bringing fabric and FABRICLIVE to two major festivals in London for the first time and teaming up with Ricardo Villalobos for a showcase during OFF Week.
At the end of the announcement, fabric says ‘We want to say thank you to everyone that’s been part of this journey over the past two decades. So much of the world surrounding us has changed in this time span, but your love for us has always been unparalleled. From the celebratory times to our most challenging moments, it’s your support that’s built our legacy’.
