Ireland’s biggest music festival is back for its fifth edition, with a lineup to truly secure its place in the electronic music calendar.
AVA Festival and Conference will be returning to Boucher Road for a two-day bash kicking off Friday 31st May. Ben UFO, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Courtesy, Avalon Emerson, Len Faki, Call Super and Daniel Avery will be making their debut at the former B&Q warehouse. Alongside them, 2019’s edition will see the return of Mall Grab, local girls Saoirse, Or:la and Holly Lester, Swoose, Twitch, Sally C, Brame and Hamo, Timmy Stewart, Myler and Salford-based High Hoops.
Celebrating talent from both the north and south of the country, AVA will once again feature a free daytime conference at the MAC offering insight from artists, producers, promoters and agents, which last year saw talks from Bicep, KINK and Larry Head.
Ben Sims, Blawan, Horse Meat Disco, Palms Trax, Randomer, Rebekah, Willow and The Black Madonna round-out a strong offering for Belfast’s legendary knees-up, that will undoubtedly only further cement the city as one of Europe’s dance music meccas.
