Alden Tyrell and Ben Sims have teamed up for the fifth release on Vin Sol’s San Francisco label Club Lonely. Released earlier this month, ‘More Real Wild Trax’ features two tracks from each artist respectively.
Heavily focused on club-ready tunes, the EP opens with Alden Tyrell’s ‘Footcontrol’featuring an organ-esque melody over relentless drums. Kicking things up a notch, ‘Make It Clap’ draws influence from Dance Mania’s signature jacking style with a high-octane rumbling rhythm.
Moving into the first of Ben Sims’ contributions, ‘Jack Trax 1′ continues the thundering theme with fluttering chords and static sounds adding complex layers to the track whilst ‘Jack Trax 2’ closes the EP in boisterous fashion.
Vin Sol launched Club Lonely label earlier last year off the back of the successful San Fran club night where Sol is a resident alongside DJ Primo and Jeremy Castillo.
