A legend within the UK scene, Si Begg has been recording music since 1993 across the spectrum of electro, breaks, garage, bass and techno. With collaborations alongside Neill Landstrumm and Tipper on labels such as Tresor, Novamute and Fuel, Si Begg fast became a leading figure within the scene. Having stepped away from his original productions to focus on film and TV, Si Begg makes a very welcome return with a hefty four-track release ‘400 Million Pieces Of You’. Taking inspiration from the Drexcyian landscape on the ‘P1 Tek 2 Neu Anfang’ and ‘P1 Voltage 2 Repeater’, the stand out track for us is ‘When We Were Young’ – a hypnotic, looping trance record that takes us back to the 90s.
‘400 Million Pieces of You’ by Si Begg will be released on the 27th September via Love Love Records – pre-order here.
