Melbourne duo Albrecht La’Brooy, real name Sean La’Brooy and Alex Albrecht, have released their latest mini album ‘Tidal River’.
Marking their first release on Apollo, the album features six tracks running from morning through to night and tries to capture the feeling of each snapshot in time. The release was inspired by a visit to Wilson’s Promontory, a remote national park on the South East coast of Australia.
The Tidal River album includes a quartet of jazz musicians including label-mate Matthew Hayes on bass guitar, guitarist Oliver Paterson, Spanish Cajon courtesy of Joseph Batrouney and night time saxophone debut by Josh Kelly.
